This method fixes the elastic mold in a high-pressure container and positions it with a stopper, so it is also called the fixed mold method. During operation, the lifting punch loads the powder into the mold, and the upper mouth is closed with a pressure punch after loading. When pressurizing, the liquid medium is injected between the inner wall of the cylinder and the outer surface of the mold, and the pressure is applied evenly in all directions of the mold at the same time. The demolding is used to push the blank out of the mold.
Structural composition of cold isostatic press:
The cold isostatic press is mainly composed of elastic mold, cylinder block (high-pressure vessel), frame, hydraulic system, etc.
(1) Elastic mold. Made of rubber or resin material. The size and shape of material particles have a great impact on the life of the mold. Mold design is key to isostatic forming, as the accuracy and dense uniformity of the body size are closely related to the mold. When the material is loaded into the mold, its edges and corners are not easy to be filled by the material, and vibration charging can be used, or while vibrating and vacuuming, the effect is better.
(2) Cylinder block. Containers that can withstand high pressures. There are generally two structural forms: one is made of two layers of simplified hot installation, the inner cylinder is in a compressed state, and the outer cylinder is in a tensile state, which is only suitable for small and medium-sized isostatic pressing equipment; The other is to use the steel wire prestressed winding structure, using high-strength alloy steel with good mechanical properties as the core simplified, and then use high-strength steel wire to wrap around the outside of the core cylinder according to the prestress requirements to form a certain thickness of steel wire layer, so that the core cylinder can withstand great compressive stress. Not subjected to tensile stress or very small tensile stress, even under working conditions, this container has a high fatigue life and can be used to manufacture containers with larger diameters. Both the upper and lower plugs of the container are movable, and when pressurized, the upper and lower plugs transfer force to the rack.
(3) Framework. There are two structural forms: one is a stacked plate structure, which is made of medium-strength steel plates; The other is a winding frame structure, which is made of two semicircular beams and two columns assembled and then wound with high-strength steel wire prestressed. This structure has reasonable stress, high fatigue resistance, and safe and reliable work.
